Today, Friday, will be a rather chilly and wet day, as the tail end of Hurricane Oscar hits Connacht, Ulster and west Munster.
Friday night is expected to be windy and wet, with some persistent rain across coastal areas of the west and south of the country.
Saturday morning is likely to be blustery, with rain spreading eastwards throughout the morning and afternoon, clearing towards late evening. Temperatures will rise to between 11-14C.
Early indications are for a largely dry Sunday, with temperatures reaching 13C at best.
