Winter seems to be finally coming to a long-awaited end around Irish shores, as temperatures are expected to rise to a more Spring-like feeling during the days ahead.
The downside is that there will be plenty of rain too throughout the week, leading to an equally mild but wet weekend.
Temperatures will likely reach 16C across many areas this week, with heavy showers coming down at times.
