Mild and sunny weather is forecast to remain for the next 36h or so, but Met Eireann predicts colder conditions by the weekend.
Wednesday and Thursday will be very dry, mild, Spring-like days, with long periods of sunshine and temperatures topping 15C at times.
Things will take a turn for the worse by Saturday though, with temperatures sinking back to 7C-10C during the day, and to below freezing at night. A similar outlook is predicted for Sunday.
The good news is that the weekend weather will be largely dry and sunny, but not as pleasant as Spring should be.
