
The Minister for Education Norma Foley has confirmed that there are no reccomendations for primary school children to wear face masks.
Speaking in the Dail this afternoon, Foley confirmed that the National Public Health Emergency Team haven’t issued advice for face coverings in primary schools
However she did state that the Department will always following NPHET’s reccomendations.
She added that children can wear coverings if they wish to do so.
