The Minister for Health Simon Harris has said that Irish people have saved lives.
In a tweet Minister Harris called on the public to stay the course and follow the current restrictions set out by the Government.
Harris also acknowledged that it is a difficult and challenging time, but he reminded people what we have achieved so far is amazing but we must keep up going.
The Irish people have saved lives. I know it’s really tough & challenging but what an amazing thing to have achieved. It remind us all why we are doing what we are doing.
