The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has said that the country is on track in its Covid-19 vaccination programme as 94,000 vaccines have been administered so far.
In an announcement the Health Minister confirmed that 71,000 vaccines have been administered to frontline healthcare workers, whilst 23,000 have been administered to residents and staff at long term care facilities.
Donnelly said in the region of 140,000 doses will be administered by Sunday.
