Minister for Social Protection Leo Varadkar is today standing up for what is right and proper for the citizenry, and is focusing his efforts on delivering five extra coins to pensioners and other welfare recipients ‘as early as possible.’
A long and bitter struggle for the fiver of discord has raged for weeks, due to disagreements among Government ranks as to when people should be bestowed with the extra pittance.
But Mr. Varadkar has now confirmed he’s on the case and on the people’s side, ready to hand out the coins in a prompt manner.
