TV presenter and media personality Miriam O’Callaghan has ruled herself out of any upcoming presidential election.
She said that she wanted to dispel persistent rumors about her intentions to run for Ireland’s presidency, and will focus on further TV work instead.
There had been growing pressure for O’Callaghan to go one way or the other on whether she was thinking about running or not – but it’s not to be.
Artist Kevin Sharkey intends to run in the election and wants to put Ireland first, including putting Irish people higher on housing lists over migrants coming into the country. Mr Sharkey has already received great support.
