There has been a very mixed reaction to the pharmacy chain Boots offering a new covid test in the not too distant future that could see results in a matter of minutes.
Some people say that they wouldn’t trust the results while others say that the quick test is needed immediately.
Pharmacy chain Boots is planning to roll out a coronavirus test kit that the company claims can return a result ‘in 12 minutes.’
Boots has confirmed that the LumiraDX swab tests will be available at selected stores over the next few weeks, at a cost of £120.
The new tests are specifically designed for people who do not have any symptoms.
