Mixed reactions to Eamon Dunphy questioning whether Sinn Fein needed to be “watched”

There’s been very mixed reactions to Eamon Dunphy’s comments about Sinn Fein on Virgin Media television.

Many feel that Dunphy was correct while others vehemently disagreed.

Dunphy said that he didn’t support Sinn Fein in this election but that he did support the change that they represented.

He said that the other parties have left society that is shameful, health, housing and congestion has left people sick of it and the system broken.

He said that it was a historical question but Sinn Fein needed to be looked at and questioned whether it was a party, a movement or a cult.

He said that they’re on a journey and he some good things to say about them and respected them but they’re on a wave.

All panellists agreed that the next number of days and next week will be vital in whether a government can actually be formed or not.
