The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) for COVID-19 met with the government on Monday and gave the Taoiseach Micheal Martin their recommendations as to what should happen next.
It’s understood that there is a real concern with Saturday’s figures of 200 new cases and also with footage emerging of a Dublin venue appearing to show little to no social distancing taking place.
Many social media users now feel that a full on lockdown could happen again as the Cabinet meets later today to discuss the latest health recommendations.
