Professor Alessandro Strumia has claimed at a work shop held by Cern that men are being discriminated against in physics because feminist ideologues value gender over merit the BBC reports.
Professor Strumia of Pisa University claims that women are being hired by Cern, The European Organization for Nuclear Research, over more qualified men during a talk about “fundamental theory and gender”.
He stated at one stage that physics was “invented and built by men” and showed evidence that woman are hired over men with more scientific accreditations in the name of political correctness.
The Professor then displayed slides and graphs documenting discrimination against men in the field of physics such as the fact that female Italian STEM students are receiving free or cheaper university fees in Italy, the UK Independent reported.
The workshop was held to highlight gender issues in the field of physics but apparently not issues that affected men and Professor Strumia was immediately suspended from Cern.
