More locals around Blanchardstown are reporting run ins with groups of young African males being housed at the National Indoor Sports Arena.
The migrants have already caused a number of issues at the arena on the Snugborough Road, with women and girls reporting harassment and intimidation.
The migrants are known to loiter near St. Patrick’s primary school, drinking during the day. In one disturbing incident they approached primary school girls and made lewd insinuations before local youths intervened and drove them away.
The Africans later returned in larger numbers armed with knives and there was reportedly a tense standoff which almost resulted in bloodshed.
Now, the migrants have begun to wander further afield at night and have been reported lurking around the Roselawn and Clonsilla areas of Blanchardstown after dark.
