More Snow To Come: Met Eireann say further wintry conditions expected tonight




The country maybe set for further wintry spells tonight as Met Eireann say snow and frost is most places overnight to night.

The national forecaster has said snow will occur mainly in northern parts but there could be spells further south, Met Eireann also frost and ice will develop as temperatures are expected to drop as low as -2.

The forecaster also advise motorists to be extra careful whilst driving on Monday morning as ice is expected to develop on the nations roads.

Meanwhile Monday will remain quite cold with temperatures still well below average, with highs of only 6 to 8 degrees. It will be a mostly dry day with some sunny spells; just a few passing showers occurring
