A man in his 20s has died following a car crash in Co Waterford last night, reports RTE.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the N29, Port Road, at around 10.30pm.
Two men in their 20s were in the car at the time of the incident, reports RTE.
They were taken to Waterford University Hospital for treatment.
However, the driver of the car was later declared dead.
The passenger’s injuries are not described as life-threatening, reports RTE.
A technical inspection will be carried out on site and local detours will be implemented.
Gardaí said a report would be sent to the coroner.
