Over 2,000 people are now confirmed dead after a major earthquake struck Morocco overnight.
The quake struck in the Ighil area of the High Atlas with a magnitude of 7.2 on the Richter Scale.
The latest death toll stands at more than 2,000, but officials fear this figure will rise significantly throughout the coming hours.
