During her initial appearance at the Old Bailey in London, a mother accused of fatally stabbing her four-year-old son became emotional and cried.
Keziah Macharia, aged 41, was charged with the murder of Kobi Macharia Dooly after he was discovered with multiple wounds in his crib on December 20th.
Kobi is the child of Ben Dooly, who is originally from Tramore, Co Waterford, but has resided in England for many years.
Today, friends and family of the young boy attended court for a preliminary hearing, while Ms. Macharia appeared via video link from Bronzefield prison.
During the hearing, Judge Lynn Tayton established a schedule for the trial, which includes a plea and trial preparation hearing on March 21st.
