An Australian woman has been charged with murder after her two young daughters were found dead inside a hot car in Brisbane, over the weekend.
According 9 News, the charge comes after the bodies of two-year-old Darcy-Helen and one-year-old Chloe Ann where tragically found inside the car with temperatures reaching 31C outside.
It is understood girls mother 27-year-old Keri Ann Conley was arrested and charged on Saturday evening.
Police investigating the incident say the girls were sadly pronounced dead despite the best efforts of their mother who poorer water over them in order to cool them down.
It is reported that both girls were pronounced dead by paramedics when they arrived at the scene.
Officers investigating the case say the girls were exposed to extreme heat which tragically lead to their deaths.
They added that they are currently questioning the girls parents in order to determine how they were left inside the car.
