The mother of the 5-yr-old girl who was seriously injured in the attack outside a school in Dublin’s Parnell Square in November said her daughter was “out of danger”.
On a GoFundMe page found here dedicated to the girl, her mother posted about the girl, saying she was now “more alert and even smiled”.
She said: “Our angel has been out of the PICU for two weeks now. She is more alert and even smiled. We still have a long time still in hospital, but she is out of danger”.
The girl’s mother thanked everyone for their help and support and wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Several people were injured in the attack in Parnell Square East on November 23.
The 5-yr-old girl and a day-care worker are still being treated in hospital for their injuries.
Another 6-yr-old girl and a 5-yr-old boy were also treated in hospital but were later released.
