Mothercare goes into liquidation due to unsustainable losses, almost 200 jobs are to go

Early childhood products retailer Mothercare has gone into liquidation, with the loss of almost 200 jobs.

The company had been struggling financially for some time, and Covid-19 administered the final blow.

All 14 Irish stores are now shut for good.
