A young motorcyclist has passed away following a collision between a car and a motorbike in the capital.
The incident happened in Lucan, Dublin, just after 9pm on Thursday evening.
The motorcyclist, a young man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the car was not injured.
