A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a crash in the south of the country.
The accident, which involved a bike and a truck, happened on the R617 at Paud’s Cross road in Co. Cork at around lunchtime.
The motorcyclist, a male in his 40s, was rushed to Cork University Hospital in a critical condition. The truck driver was not injured.
