Once again, motorists and pedestrians are advised to use extra caution around the roads and pathways, as another night of freezing temperatures has left plenty of ice and frost nationwide.
There are reports of heavy ice formation around Leinster, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon Town, Letterkenny, Cavan, Thurles and Cork City. There are also reports of black ice on the N56 in Donegal.
Gardai and emergency services are dealing with a raft of road crashes across the country so do be careful.
