The warning comes after Met Éireann issued a Status Yellow Warning with temperatures expected to be as low as -3 overnight.
Met Eireann say Connacht, Munster, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal will experience the worst of the conditions this morning and are advising motorists to b extra careful.
