The funeral of Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala will take place later this morning in Argentina.
Sala 28, who tragically died in a plane crash over the English Channel following his move from French side Nantes, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Progresso.
It is understood that representatives of both clubs will attend the funeral and will join mourners in paying their last respects to Sala, who had joined Cardiff in a £15m deal last month.
According to Sky News, the funeral service will take place in his hometown at 7am local time and he will then be brought to Santa Fe where his remains will be cremated at the request of his family.
