Movement of asylum seekers in Ireland says it’s disgraceful that Ukrainians are forced to sleep in Dublin Airport

The Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland says that it’s absolutely disgraceful that Ukrainians and other migrants are forced to sleep in Dublin Airport.

Asylum seekers have now been told to sleep at Dublin Airport, as temporary accommodation across Ireland is ‘full’.

It is understood that all State-sponsored accommodation is occupied, so new arrivals will be forced to sleep on plastic chairs and sleeping bags all around the airport.

It’s unclear whether or not the Government is aware of the image portrayed by hundreds of destitute people sleeping around the floor at the ‘world-class’ Dublin Airport as international tourists arrive at ‘welcoming’ Ireland.

Meanwhile 10,000 Irish people languish around the country on streets and hotel rooms along with shop doorways.
