Authorities are today warning of a doomsday scenario of melting roads, power cuts, and ‘heat stress’ across Ireland due to high temperatures over the coming days.
According to the latest weather charts, the thermometer will climb to the late 20s and early 30s in some parts.
People are advised to be careful in the sun as the all-time temperature record of 33.3C might just be broken soon.
