Mr iPhone shop in Drogheda reopens in time for Christmas after extensive works get carried out on listed building

It’s good news for Drogheda as one of its most iconic buildings has been fully renovated with its well-known and established Mr iPhone shop back open for business in time for Christmas.

The best known mobile phone repair shop in Drogheda, County Louth, Mr iPhone, had been forced to temporarily close its doors for a short time until extensive works were carried out on the listed building in which it’s located.

At the intersection of Shop Street, West St, Laurence St and Peter St lies the beautiful building where Mr iPhone’s shop is.

Putting the safety of the public first, Mr iPhone was forced to temporarily close for extensive works to be carried out in conjunction with Drogheda Council.

Mr iPhone told The Liberal:
“We’re delighted to announce that all works have been carried out and that we’re back open for business, just in time for Christmas. The public’s safety in and around our shop is our priority and we’d like to thank our customers for their well wishes and welcome them back to our shop”.

The good news for Drogheda is that a number of construction works are being carried out in and around the centre of the town which should revitalise the main thoroughfare of the town centre area.
