Thousands of people were evacuated from a number of public buildings across Moscow and other cities today, after multiple bomb threats were made.
In total, 190 sites had to be cleared, due to claims that they had been rigged with explosive devices. 20,000 people were disrupted.
Terrorist activity is not uncommon across Russian cities, and today’s incident has been deemed ‘telephone terrorism.’
No explosive devices were found.
