Police in Munich have confirmed that the Gunman involved in last night’s brutal shootings at the Olympia Shopping centre was an 18 year old German-Iranian who was living in the city.
The teen’s body was apparently found two hours after he opened fire on innocent civilians in the North of the city. The brutal and shocking attack saw 10 people sadly lose their lives whilst several more were injured.
Meanwhile police have also searched a backpack that apparently contained a number of explosives. A police spokesmen confirmed late last night that the vast majority of the victims were youths, whilst a number of children were injured in the attack.
It is not yet clear whether or not the attack was linked to Islamic state and exactly what the attacker’s motives were for the shootings.
