Munster’s European dream is over for another year as they were beaten 26-10 by Saracens in the European Champions Cup at the Aviva Stadium this evening.
In a game that could have potentially setup an all Irish final with Leinster ended in disaster for the men in red as Saracens came out on top.
Although Munster dominated possession in the first half they could not make it count and found themselves 6-3 down going into the break.
The second half began with a Saracens rally and they made it count with three superb tries which effectively killed the game.
Munster did manage to score a late consolation but it was too little to late for the Irish Provence.
