Muslim man hailed as “model of integration” stands trial for brutally beating woman to death with hammer while she held 10 week old baby daughter

A Muslim migrant in Germany who was hailed a model of integration and dubbed the “ambassador of Saxony” by German media has been arrested and charged with the brutal murder of a mother who worked to help refugees who had come to the country.

The man, identified as Edris Z. (31) allegedly caved in the head of a 37-year-old refugee aid worker, named as Myriam Z on the morning of April 8th as she walked with her 10 week old baby daughter.

The Afghan refugee is accused of coldly planning the murder of the woman who was walking in the southern Auwald forest carrying her baby on her chest in a carrier. The Muslim man had sought revenge against the aid worker after she reported him under the Protection Against Violence Act.

The victim was once in relationship with the Afghan but separated from him and reported him to the police for a violent attack after he saw her with another man in 2018.

The Muslim man stalked the disobedient woman before attacking her from behind with a hammer, smashing her in the back of the head. As the mother fell to the ground, she used both her hands to shield her baby leaving her defenceless as he continued to bash her skull into until she died.

The trial of the man hailed as a model of Muslim integration continues in Leipzig TAG24 reports.
