A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed at least once on Marlsborough Street, in Dublin’s city centre on Thursday afternoon.

Onlookers say there was a dispute and a man aged in his 20s was stabbed in the neck and chest.

It’s not yet known the nationalities of those involved with unconfirmed reports circulating on social media that it was to Algerian men who had a row over a rucksack.

Again, this is have not been confirmed. Gardai say that a man was rushed to the Mater Hospital with stab wounds and that no one has been arrested in relation to the incident. They’re appealing for witnesses, presumably there must be many as it happened on a busy street in the middle of the day.
