American race car driver and TV personality Jessi Combs has passed away at the age of 36.
Combs who is remembered for hosting the Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters passed away following a high speed crash in Alvord Desert, Oregon, on Tuesday.
According to reports in the US, Combs was attempting to break her own landspeed record in a jet powered car.
Although it is yet to be determined what caused the crash, the news of Combs death was confirmed Harney County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.
Combs who was a professional racing car driver and was host of the popular science show Mythbusters between 2009 and 2010.
