The N25 road in Co. Wexford closed for a time earlier today following the death of a pedestrian there on Tuesday night.
A 36-year-old man was fatally injured after being struck by a car shortly before 10pm.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital Waterford, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the car was not injured.
