A Status Yellow warning for heavy rainfall is now in effect for four counties.
Counties Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, and Mayo are covered by the warning, which will be in effect until 5pm this afternoon.
Met Eireann says that up to 35mm of rain might fall across many areas in these countries, potentially leading to localized flooding.
