The number of dangerous vehicles arriving at NCT centres around the country is reportedly on the rise according to the test centres mechanics.
The news comes as the national car testing facility recently published it’s report for 2016. According the report in total over 6,500 dangerously unsafe has passed through their doors before November 2016.
The latest report found that there was an increase of 1,000 more vehicles deemed unfit for road use compared to 2015. It is believed that mechanics across the country had seen so many unsafe vehicles throughout the year, that they regularly requested that its owner should have their vehicle towed away from the centre rather than drive.
Amongst the biggest failures for a number of cars during 2016 were the use of bad tyres, having frayed fuel hoses and structural damage.
