New car registrations have taken a marked tumble this month, by as much as 14% when compared with the same time last year.
Official figures just released show that 1,397 new cars were sold up until the end of June. This compares to 1,623 in the same month last year.
The figures reveal a downward trend in new car sales throughout 2017 thus far, with 10% less registrations overall in comparison to the same period the previous year.
By brand, people are purchasing Volkswagen, Toyota, Hyundai, Ford and Nissan above all others.
