New data shows the number of migrants per county in Ireland

In Donegal, one in every 100 individuals seeks asylum, reports Breaking News.

Leitrim has the fewest asylum seekers per county, whereas Dublin has the greatest number. That is in line with updated data that the Department of Integration has made available.

Out of 26,743 applicants for international protection nationwide, Leitrim has just 89.

The data made public provides insight into the distribution of asylum seekers among the 26 counties, reports Breaking News.

Donegal has the largest concentration, with 1004 applicants for refuge for every 1,000 residents.

In other words, 1 in 100 residents of Donegal are applying for asylum, reports Breaking News.
