It’s only been a few days since the new Government arranged itself following an election that might as well have never happened, and things are already in deep chaos.
There are calls today for the Government to clarify whether or not people can enjoy holidays abroad this summer, following conflicting reports.
Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan remains firm in his opinion that people should not travel abroad, due to heightened risk of bringing Covid-19 back to Ireland. However, former Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said that ‘air bridges’ will soon be available.
The result is confusion and uncertainty for people here in Ireland and elsewhere.
