Newly recruited Gardai will be able to wear hijabs and turbans in an effort to ‘increase diversity’ in the Force.
The new uniform rules are hoped to attract more people from ethnic minorities to join the Gardai.
The recruitment drive is now on, and you can apply on www.publicjobs.ie until April 24.
