New poll claims some 70% of Irish people would take a covid vaccine when it’s made available

With restrictions due to ease from tomorrow, talk is now turning to whether or not people will take a covid vaccine when it’s made available.

Level 3 will start tomorrow with NPHET and the government expecting case numbers to rise in the coming weeks as a result.

However with up to five new vaccines claiming to be ready for distribution, people are talking more about whether or not they’ll take a vaccine when it does indeed arrive here.

A new poll released on Sunday claims that up to 70% of Irish people would take a vaccine when it’s available with 30% saying that they either wouldn’t or hadn’t decided yet. There’s a lot of talk of threats of what could or moreover could not happen if you don’t take a vaccine, such as travel restrictions or possible health insurance issues.
