New research finds that Ireland’s climate will get warmer by 2050




According to recent research it is understood that Ireland’s climate will most likely continue to get warmer over the next 35 years.

The new findings published by the EPA found that Ireland’s average temperature will increase by 1.7 degrees before 2050. The latest research also suggests that Hot days will be between 0.7 and 2.6 degrees warmer along with decrease in rainfall during the spring and summer months.
However experts predict that rainfall will heavily increase during autumn and winter months.

The latest research was carried by experts from the EPA research programme along with experts from Met Eireann at the Irish Centre for High End Computing and University College Dublin.
