A new survey has revealed that 7 out of 10 people in the 18-24 age range are considering leaving Ireland due to rip-off costs here.
The survey, carried out by the National Youth Council, revealed that the rising cost of living, the virtual impossibility to buy a house, and the shortage of renting accommodation are pushing young people to seriously consider emigration.
Much better facilities, public transport, less inept governments, and generally more favorable living conditions elsewhere also play a factor.
