A new report reveals that Ireland is the most expensive country in Europe to buy alcohol products.
We pay a whopping 175% above the EU average when it comes to booze, while tobacco products stand at 189%, according to Eurostat figures. Finland, the UK, Sweden and Denmark follow us, while Bulgaria was the cheapest.
So think twice before heading to the pub or the off-licence next time.
