New York city is taken over by balloons and floats for the 89th Macy’s Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade

New York city is taken over by balloon and floats for the 89th Macy’s Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade took place this morning, boasting balloons, floats, celebrities and music set off from New York City’s Central Park West, heading through the Avenue of the Americas and ending in Herald Square, near Macy’s iconic Manhattan store.

The parade, hosted floats such as Snoopy, Spongebob Squarepants and not to forget Santa Claus. Millions of spectators were in attendance of the iconic parade.

A drone was spotted over the parade which caused a tightening in security. Police quickly responded in light of the recent terror attacks, taking the owner into custody. Police did not make an arrested
