New York health authorities have reported that no fewer than 100 children are now receiving treatment for a new inflammatory disease believed to be linked to Covid-19.
The novel illness displays symptoms similar to Kawasaki disease, which is usually restricted to Asian countries and mostly affects children under five. The disease has already killed three children in the New York area.
The disease has been reported elsewhere in the world as well.
