Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak has warned that the UK is heading for a ‘significant’ recession, following a GDP drop of 5.8% in March.

Mr. Sunak also pointed out that the British economy shrank by 2% during the first two months of 2020.

The announcement paints a rather bleak financial picture for the coming months in the UK and elsewhere.
