Nine people are confirmed dead, and at least 16 more injured, after a lone gunman opened fire outside a bar in Ohio.
The shooting happened near the Ned Peppers bar in downtown Ohio at around 1am local time.
Police officers shot the gunman dead after a brief firefight.
The incident came shortly after another shootout in the border town of Ohio where at least 20 people died.
