Former Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams has ruled out running in a future Presidential election.
Adams who was speaking Paddy Holohan’s No Shame podcast, said he has never considered running for the position and never will.
Speaking to the host, Adams also said he gets asked the question quite often but he has no plans to run for Áras an Uachtaráin.
He added that he is happy representing the people of Louth, but when the next General Election comes he will finish being a public representative.
